Hi I’m Richard Nurse (@richardn2009 on twitter) and I work at the Open University Library in the UK. I setup this blog in 2009 soon after I joined the OU as a way of recording my thoughts and reflections. After many years working in public libraries this blog charts a journey into a new area for me, the HE library sector, adapting skills, learning about a new environment and starting to understand some of the concerns and challenges of the HE library sector.
The blog has a mix of posts, covering talks, seminars and events I’ve attended, mixed with reflections on work I’ve been doing and general thoughts about the library world.
